Squad Match
A good workout tonight lads and a fantastic turnout of 24. Fitness was OK and now and again some of the play was good. It did show we need to work on shape, discipline and organisation quite a lot. Especially as we have a lot of new players. Hopefully everyone enjoyed it and with a week to go are looking forward to the new season.

See you all on Saturday night in the Masons. This year there will be a real focus on reinvigorating the "Club Spirit" and social side of the club. This will also have a reflection on team selection as its vital for the longevity of the club.

Friendly - Greenwood Sunday 31st
The venue for this fixture may be changing. Greenwood played at Hayward last night and have reported that the pitches were in very poor condition. They are checking out an alternative and will inform us asap.

In Harwood, go past Morrison on Right and look for longsight lane first main turning on right. Follow Longsight lane to cross roads and go straight across. Park on right BEFORE golf club.

I am still waiting for the vets to confirm they have players. If not we have 21 available and I will suggest that we still have a game. Venue is Longsight Park, lower pitch KO 7 pm. can those with nets balls and corner flags please arrive at about 6.45. Cheers.
